A tip for down is make sure to keep it lofted when not in use (in the store sack provided) and make sure the down doesn’t get wet. As this will cause the feathers to clump. Down works by trapping warm air in between you and the sleeping bag so it’s important you keep it as puffy as you can. Wet down can have a reverse effect and make you colder.
