Hi, I’m Liam — founder of ReTrail, outdoor gear enthusiast, and a big believer in giving good kit a second life. I’m 19, based in the Midlands, and when I’m not out hiking, camping, or planning my next trip, I’m hunting down quality pre-loved gear that deserves to be used, not left in a cupboard.

ReTrail started from two things I care about:

• Getting more people outdoors without the huge price tag.

• Cutting down waste in an industry that often sells “new” before “necessary.”

I saw so much great outdoor equipment being thrown away or forgotten, just because it had a little wear or wasn’t the latest model. That didn’t sit right with me. Good gear is built to last — and with a bit of care, it can keep adventuring for years.

Through ReTrail, I source and resell secondhand outdoor clothing, camping gear, and adventure essentials. Every item gets inspected, cleaned, and made ready for the trail again. That way, you can kit yourself out for your next trip while saving money and the planet.

For me, it’s not just about selling gear — it’s about building a community of people who share the love of the outdoors, value sustainability, and know that the best stories come from the miles we’ve walked, not the price we’ve paid for our boots.
